3D Relief modeling

You can either create vector artwork within ArtCAM JewelSmith or use your imported sketches or artwork as a base image to design around. ArtCAM JewelSmith can import most common vector and bitmap image formats, including pdf, bmp, jpeg, tiff, gif, and also gives full support to dwg and dxf files retaining all the original layer information.

You can quickly add height to your vector shapes. Draw cross sectional vectors to produce complex swept 3D profile shapes and create models with organic 3D blended areas. By building up multiple interacting reliefs using ArtCAM’s Relief Layers you can quickly create highly intricate designs.

The ArtCAM JewelSmith Solution offers you unrivalled flexibility when creating designs made up of multiple 3D Reliefs, Textures, Vector Designs and Text. By organizing a ‘Stack’ of 3D reliefs onto separate layers you not only have the ability to easily edit each layer independently, but you also have the ability to dynamically change the relationship between each layer allowing you to create and manage a range of different 3D designs within one model file. Text can be easily created, edited and manipulated to give the desired effect. Use True Type fonts, single line fonts or edit and create your own fonts, symbols and logos using ArtCAM JewelSmith’s Font editor, then use them as you would any other text font.
