How to choose the right spindle?
An appropriate choice of
the spindle is very important. A prerequisite for quality accuracy, and
speed of work performed. Invalid selection of its spindle power,
revolutions can result in low work efficiency, rapid consumption of the
spindle and even its permanent damage.
Professional spindles such
as ELTE or JAEGER are mounted without brushing, and they have the ceramic bearings. Application of the construction without a brushes and based on the
ceramic bearings ensures high durability and reliability.
The basic parameters include the spindle speed and power.
RPM
RPMs of the most professional spindles are in the range of 12,000 to
80,000. Spindle speed is
regulated by output converter, which lets you change the speed to a
very large extent.
High RPMs can be used in case of:
aluminum, wood, composite materials, laminates, etc. High turnover does
not apply to the treatment of steel, particularly stainless steel and
plastics, thermoplastics.
Power
The primary
criterion for selection by the spindle are the maximum diameters
cutters, which will use them and treated materials.
The following is a table showing the relationship described above. The parameters listed in the table to deal
