Area Clearance - Pocketing

Also known as Pocketing, Insignia's 2D Area clearance provides a fast strategy for machining out deep pockets in designs and areas between text and shapes. As well as fast OFFSET and RASTER strategies being available the Corner Sharpening option will ensure that you retain precise detail.

To reduce overall machining time, Insignia allows you to specify multiple tools for the one toolpath. The smaller tools you pick will only machine where the larger tools couldn't reach, rather than re-machine the whole area again. The strategies chosen can then be inspected using the 2D toolpath solid colour simulation.
